The Manmatha Samhita is translated by Sandhya Mulchandani in her book “The Five Arrows of Kama”. Nothing is known about how long ago it was written or by whom. It is a paean to Phagun and asks everyone to explore their sexuality in spring without fear of censure or criticism. The book is written in the form of a discussion between Kamadeva and his wife Rati, who delivers an entire chapter on self-pleasure and dildo-making, loving and worshipping!
