As part of the writing and editorial team you will be working closely with the creative team – research, graphics and editorial – on a full time basis. You will be responsible for researching and writing content for the website, newsletter and social media of Agents of Ishq, around diverse themes related to gender, sexuality, sex-education and sexual culture and editing narratives by external writers, around these themes. You will report to the editor and the creative director.
Bombay based candidates are preferred.
Job Requirements:
We are looking for a person who has
Minimum 1-2 years experience as a writer.
A detail-oriented approach to work
Proficiency in English. Proficiency in Hindi is a plus.
Interest in and awareness of popular culture
Interest in gender and sexuality, and understanding of politics around these themes
Writing style should be 1) Versatile and flexible, able to work in diverse formats. 2) Communicative, humorous, and able to write complex ideas accessibly without using jargon
